Directions from Chania airport by car.
Chania airport is located in Souda village. Drive towards the national road E75 and head to Rethymno town. It is about 50 km drive. Don't turn at the first juction to the town because Axos hotel is situated 6km away. Drive all the way through the national road, pass the town (you will be able to see Rethymno on your left hand side) and finaly turn right where there is a sigh saying 'Platanias'. There are scheduled buses from Heraklion to the city of Rethymno every 1 hour and the first one starts at 05:30 in the morning and the last one at 20:30. As soon as you get to the bus station of Rethymno you take the bus with sigh number ''20'' to ''Hotels'' or ''Panormo''. This leaves every 15 minutes.
