from Heraklion airport by car.
When you live the airport of Heraklion take the
highway (Ethniki odos Rethymnou) to Rethymno with
number E75. It is the only one road getting here
so you can't miss it. After about 60 km you will
see the area "Scaleta" drive through that
and then you will go to "Sfakaki" area.
There you will see a sigh saying "Rethymno
old road" you turn write through there and
drive all the way until you find the area 'Platanias".
It is about 5 km from where you turn. Axos hotel
is located in the center of "Platanias"
on your left side just opposite "Marem"
supermarket.
Directions
from Chania airport by car.
Chania airport is located in Souda village. Drive
towards the national road E75 and head to Rethymno
town. It is about 50 km drive. Don't turn at the
first juction to the town because Axos hotel is
situated 6km away. Drive all the way through the
national road, pass the town (you will be able
to see Rethymno on your left hand side) and finaly
turn right where there is a sigh saying 'Platanias'.
Axos hotel is located in the center of "Platanias"
on your right side just opposite "Marem"
supermarket.
Bus
directions from Heraklion.
There are scheduled buses from Heraklion to the
city of Rethymno every 1 hour and the first one
starts at 05:30 in the morning and the last one
at 20:30. As soon as you get to the bus station
of Rethymno you take the bus with sigh number
''20'' to ''Hotels'' or ''Panormo''. This leaves
every 15 minutes.
Bus
directions from Chania
From Chania the first bus to Rethymno town is
at 05:30. It leaves every 1 hour and the last
one goes at 20:30. As soon as you get to the bus
station of Rethymno you take the bus with sigh
number ''20'' to ''Hotels'' or ''Panormo''. This
leaves every 15 minutes.
